Abstracts

Abstracts must be submitted during the registration procedure. The abstract submission deadline is March 15, 2019.

During the submission, the registrant can indicate his/her willingness to be considered for oral presentation of his/her abstract. After the submission deadline, at least six proffered abstracts will be selected for oral presentation by the Organizing Committee. Participants selected for the proffered abstract session will be notified of their oral presentation by April 1, 2019.

Abstract and poster guidelines
Abstract titles should be brief and informative.
Abstracts should contain authors’ list and affiliations.
The main text of the abstract should not exceed 300 words.
Abstracts should not contain figures or tables.

The presenting author must be underlined on the abstract.
The size of the poster board is 125 cm (width) x 100 cm (height).

Terms and conditions
It is authors’ responsibility to ensure that the material presented at the conference does not violate any copyright laws.
Submission of an abstract implies that the authors give their consent to publication of the abstract (authors’ name and affiliations plus abstract text) in the IABCR 2019 Conference material, including (but not limited to): the conference abstract book and the IABCR2019 website/mobile app.

Registration fees

Registration closes on April 1, 2019.

The number of participants for this conference is limited: thus, we suggest to register early.
If this maximum amount of participants is reached before the registration deadline, registrations will be closed and further applications will have to be sent to info@iabcr.net for consideration in case of new availabilities due to cancellations.

Registration includes:

• Access to all the conference sessions
• Accommodation at the Hotel Zuiderduin (3 nights in single room, including breakfast)
• Conference material
• Wi-Fi access
• Opening reception
• Coffee breaks, lunch, dinner
• Drinks during the evening poster session
• Conference dinner

The visit to the Keukenhof (flower exhibition) is not included in the registration fee: registrants can subscribe for it during the registration procedure. The cost of the visit is of 30€, including the ticket for the park, transportation to and from the park and a guide. The packet lunch is provided by the hotel.

If you are accompanied by an additional person not attending the meeting, you can indicate this on the registration form. The registration fee for the accompanying person (80€ per night, minimum 2 nights) includes: accommodation at the Hotel Zuiderduin (double room, including breakfast) and dinners (including Conference Dinner). Note: i) lunches are not included, but – if the accompanying person wants to – they can be arranged at the hotel (upon payment of an additional cost); ii) registration of an accompanying person will automatically change the room of the registrant from single to double.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations can be transferred to substitutes from the same organization free of charge. Any substitution request must be communicated by email to info@iabcr.net.

Cancellations will be made as follows:

• Until March 13, 2019: 60% of the registration payment refund
• From March 14, 2019: no refund
